A campaign to teach life-saving skills will be launched next weekend.
First aid charity St John Ambulance launches its Save a Life September campaign at Brent Cross Shopping Centre next Sunday.
Volunteers will carry out first aid demonstrations and give advice, with Hendon MP Matthew Offord taking part in a demonstration.
The event will take place from 9am to 4pm at 'centre court' in the shopping centre's ground floor.
St John Ambulance's London regional director Len Bamber said: “Learning first aid to help save a life is one of the single most important things you can do – and it’s so easy to learn. In the time it takes to do your weekly shop you could learn how to stop a friend choking or keep a loved one alive until an ambulance arrives.”
