A team of students raised more than £24,000 for an international development charity.
Last month, ten volunteers from Middlesex University helped rebuild a school in Tanzania and raised money for the FutureSense Foundation, a charity that tackles global issues of child welfare and education.
Organised by the university’s Raise and Give society, each volunteer raised at least £2,750.
The first two weeks of the trip were spent building a new kitchen block for a primary school in Arusha, Tanzania. The students also climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, during their last week.
