Students who were turned away from a sixth form have accepted places elsewhere.
The Totteridge Academy, in Barnet Lane, told the pupils due to begin Year 12 last week that there was no longer a sixth form for them.
Barnet and Southgate College was approached by the school to assist in the placement of students affected by the closure of the sixth form.
In a statement, a spokesman for Barnet and Southgate College said: “The students were welcomed with refreshments and an introductory speech and video about the College. Each student also received a one-to-one session with Barnet and Southgate College staff, then went onto interview for the course most appropriate to them.
“The college’s aim was to ensure that each student felt confident and happy in attending Barnet and Southgate College.”
Year 13 classes at Totteridge Academy are scheduled to go ahead as normal.
