The public will have their first chance to see designs for the £4bn Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration next month.

A series of exhibitions will display the designs from October 10 to 18.

The regeneration will eventually see Brent Cross Shopping Centre double in size, which could create up to 20,000 jobs.

A total of 7,500 new homes will also be built.

The first stage of the scheme will include renovation of Clitterhouse Playing Fields and Claremont Park, and work will begin on a new Brent Riverside Park.

Preparations will also be made for a new town centre on either side of the North Circular Road, linked by a pedestrian bridge known as the Living Bridge.

Work will also take place on nearby roads and junctions.

Brent Cross Shopping Centre will showcase the plans from Friday, October 10 to Sunday, October 12.

The exhibition will then move to The Crown Moran Hotel in Cricklewood Broadway, on Tuesday, October 14 and Wednesday, October 15, before finishing at Hendon Leisure Centre, Marble Drive, Brent Cross, on Friday and Saturday October 17 and 18.
