Artists are invited to submit their work to an open exhibition organised by the University of Hertfordshire Galleries.
Now in its 15th year, the Eastern Approaches exhibition is open to artists who live and work in Hertfordshire and other counties in the East of England, as well as students and alumni of the University of Hertfordshire.
An independent panel of judges will select around 50 works that will feature at the exhibition, to be held at the Museum of St Albans.
One artist will be selected for the overall prize of a solo exhibition with UH Galleries, while additional prizes will be awarded by sponsors.
This year’s applications will be made via an online submission form and artworks will be selected from digital images, making it easier for artists from further afield to submit their work.
Last year the exhibition received over 250 entries, with Hatfield artist Katie Aggett taking first prize.
To enter, go to www.go.herts.ac.uk/openexhibition before November 21, or call 01707 281127.
