Health workers went on strike this morning over a pay dispute.
NHS staff at Barnet Hospital, in Wellhouse Lane, Barnet, mounted the picket line from 7am to 11am.
Industrial action was taken at hospitals across north London over a pay dispute with the Government, after a recommendation by the Independent Pay Review Body for a one per cent pay increase for all NHS staff was not taken.
Ministers have offered NHS staff a one per cent increase, but only for those without automatic progression-in-the-job rises.
There will also be action from Tuesday to Friday, with workers taking their contractual and statutory breaks.
