Mayor plants tree to mark term in office
The Mayor of Barnet has planted a tree to mark his term in office.
Councillor Hugh Rayner planted the tree in Sunny Hill Park last Wednesday, along with Mayoress Susan Rayner.
Cllr Rayner is the 12th Mayor of Barnet to plant a tree in the park.
He said: “It is a great privilege to serve as Mayor and I am very much looking forward to the remainder of my term in office.”
