An African fashion show and storytelling sessions will take place as part of a special Black History Month celebration.
The Grahame Park estate in Colindale will host activities on October 30 to celebrate the history and contribution of the African and Caribbean communities in the UK.
Dancing, speeches and a DJ workshop will also take place, and guests will hear from Joseph Godson Amamoo, author of My African Journey, who will talk about life in the 1960s.
Barnet Homes, in partnership with Genesis Housing Association, is organising the event, along with support from Kier Group, Mears and Aztec Property Services, and other charities and groups.
The African Cultural Association (ACA) will provide the fashion show.
The event will run from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
