Children can learn more about the First World War in model-making sessions at a museum.

The RAF Museum, in Grahame Park Way, Hendon, is giving people the chance to make their own Airfix models or get creative with pens and paper.

Sessions are open to children over the age of five and cost £3 each. Children aged five and under will be given pictures of an aircraft to colour in for free.

They will be held from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm from Saturday, October 25 to Friday, October 31.
