Rugby fans were in for a surprise when a top referee popped in to their pub for a post-match pint.
Referee John Lacey, who used to play for Munster and is now a European referee, dropped into the Mill Hill RFC clubhouse last Saturday with his team of officials, shortly after the European Champion Cup game, in which Saracens beat Clermont 30 – 22.
They discussed the match with supporters from both teams, and posed for photos, with Mr Lacey throwing on a chocolate and gold Mill Hill RFC blazer.
