Find out more about fostering
People are encouraged to find out more about life as a foster carer.
An information evening will take place on Tuesday November 4 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Barnet Multicultural Community Centre, in Algernon Road, Hendon.
There will be presentations from foster carers, young people who have been in foster care and council staff.
Barnet currently has around 310 children and young people in care who are in need of fostering.
The campaign ‘Join our Barnet family’, which is now in its second month, asks people to consider whether they can get involved.
