An investigation is underway after an unexplained death.

Ambulance staff called police officers to Parkfield View, Potters Bar last Wednesday at 7.50pm after the sudden death of 41-year-old Milton Papadopoulos.

A post mortem was carried out last Thursday. The results were inconclusive, so toxicology tests will take place over the next few weeks.

A police investigation is being carried out into the circumstances of the death.

Mr Papadopoulos was the sole occupant at the address. His family is being supported by specially trained officers.

In a statement, the family of Mr Papadopoulos said: “Milton was the most caring and loving son (our son). He was a true brother, uncle, friend, and godfather to many of his friends’ children and his absence has left a huge void in all our lives.

“He was highly respected and loved by everyone who knew him. One of his friends has quoted him as being ‘a people’s person’, known for his generosity, one who was always ready to help, selfless and caring in everything he did and towards everyone he met.

“We will always remember the impact he made on everyone that knew him, having touched the hearts of many. He will be forever in our hearts and in our thoughts and his memory will live within us all.”
