People have been urged to donate to The Royal British Legion over the next couple of weeks.
Poppy collectors will be at Sainsbury’s in Darkes Lane, Potters Bar, until November 11, and customers will be able to round their bills up to the nearest pound and donate the difference to the charity.
Sainsbury’s is hoping to beat the £4.5million raised for The Royal British Legion last year.
People can also recycle their poppies after Armistice Day at the store.
Store manager Paul Stephens added: “The Potters Bar community has been so supportive in past. I’d like to thank our customers for their kind donations so far and we look forward to all the activity we have planned to support this fantastic cause.”
