Two international tennis players helped a club raise more than £1,500.

Brampton Lawn Tennis Club, in Brampton Grove, Hendon, held a tennis clinic to give people coaching tips and to raise money to help rebuild the clubhouse.

More than 60 people took part in the event, which was led by Danny Sapsford and Luke Milligan, who both played in the Davis Cup for Great Britain and are involved in the Bright Ideas for Tennis charity.

The two players also took part in an exhibition match with 14-year-old Alex Zuckerman, the current Middlesex County Closed U14 champion, and his older brother Ben.

A raffle and donations helped raise the money, along with sponsorship from Bosch, through The Cooker Centre, and The Gym.

The money will also help the club run coaching sessions and apply for floodlights.
