A man who was arrested for theft of a steak and gin and tonic has been charged with seven offences.
George Curmy, 43, of The Vale, Cricklewood, was arrested last Monday for theft of a £26 sirloin steak and a can of gin and tonic from the BP service station in High Street, Potters Bar.
The items were stolen on October 14.
Following further investigation, he was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis, possession of cloned number plates and fake DVDs, having no car insurance, having no car tax, driving without a proper licence, and for failing to display a correct number plate.
He was released on bail and is due to appear at Central West Herts Magistrates Court on November 18.
