A pub has been recommended for demoltion subject to a financial agreement.
The pub in Mutton Lane, Potters Bar, will make way for two residential blocks consisting of eight two-bedroom flats with associated off-street parking.
Plans had originally been approved by Hertsmere Borough Council in June, however has now had to be amended and submitted again after a Land Registry issue came to light.
Hertsmere's planning committee, which will meet on Thursday to discuss the proposals, have been recommended to approve the amended development.
However, the recommendation will be subject to a Section 106 agreement being issued - which means that developers must either follow set restrictions on the development or pay a sum of money to the council in order for the construction to go ahead.
