Detectives investigating a sudden and unexplained death have released images of a vehicle similar to a van they are trying to trace.

Milton Papadopoulos was found dead at his home in Parkfield View, Potters Bar, on Wednesday October 22.

A white Vauxhall Combo van is believed to have been seen in the area on the Mr Papadopoulos's body was found.

The van is believed to be a model from between 2002 and 2009 and its registration plates read T531 RFE.

It was carrying at least one ladder, had no tax disc displayed and a crack in the windscreen.

The investigation, which is called Operation Pinene, is trying to establish the exact circumstances surrounding Milton’s death after post-mortem results were inconclusive.

Detective Sergeant Heath Monk, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “Milton’s death is still currently unexplained and we are following all lines of enquiry to ensure we have the full the picture surrounding the circumstances of what happened.

“As information has come to light that the van may have been in the area on the same day that Milton’s body was discovered, we would like to identify the occupant or occupants of the vehicle as they may be able to assist us with our enquiries.

“This is a distinctive vehicle, as it was carrying at least one ladder, had no tax disc displayed and had a crack in the windscreen.

“If you were the driver of this van, please contact us as soon as possible. We would also like to hear from anyone who remembers seeing this vehicle in the area during the week commencing October 20.”
