Children had the chance to show off their Christmas jumper designs in Downing Street.
Pupils at Courtland School, in Courtland Avenue, Mill Hill, were asked to take part in the competition for Christmas Jumper Day by the charity Save the Children.
The seven winners, aged seven to 11, visited Samantha Cameron at 10 Downing Street last Friday, and then went on an ice skating session at Westfield shopping centre.
Headteacher Lisa Walker said: “It was a fantastic day, a really memorable experience for the children. I think it was summed up by one child, who said ‘we were treated like royalty’.
“They had an opportunity to talk about their designs with Samantha Cameron, which they were so proud of. She was very interested about the inspiration behind them.”
