A £327,000 project to transform a playground into a new park is now complete.
The ‘pocket park’, in Kara Way, Cricklewood, opened last week, and has basketball courts, a new play area and more.
The year-long project received money from the Mayor of London, the Cricklewood Town Centre Project and a public fund for open spaces.
Judith Williams, who lives near the park and visits regularly with her two young grandchildren, said: "I was astounded by the revamp. The new playground has created so much fun for children of all ages, parents and grandparents to enjoy precious times together. Well done to all the people who were involved in this wonderful achievement."
