A robber held up a betting shop with an object resembling a gun poking from his sleeve.
The robbery took place at Ladbrokes in Kemble Parade, Potters Bar, at around 8.45pm last night.
A man approached the cashier counter and threatened a member of staff with what appeared to be the barrel of a gun in from his sleeve.
The cashier handed over money before the suspect left, turning left out of the door and along High Street, Potters Bar.
Detective Constable Rob Fleming, who is investigating, said: “I would like to speak with the man pictured as he may have information which could assist the investigation. If you can help identify him please call me. If you see this man, please call police immediately.
"I am also keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information which could assist the investigation.”
