Budding musicians can apply for grants of up to £3,000.
The Music Matters programme, from John Lewis Brent Cross, aims to support groups that make an “outstanding contribution” to their community through music.
Groups of any type of music can apply for the grants, which start from £500. Schools can also apply to help teach music to young children.
The deadline for applications is March 16.
