Hundreds of people dug through their attics to see if their old items were worth sending to auction.
The BBC One antiques show Flog It visited the RAF Museum, in Grahame Park Way, Hendon, for a valuation day yesterday.
Around 600 people turned up to have their items valued by experts, to see if they could be sent to auction in Chiswick next month.
Doug Turner, 69, a guitarist who lives in Broadfields, Edgware, brought along a Gretsch guitar once owned by Hank Marvin, which he bought for £160 in 1970.
“I bought it in Tottenham Court Road. They told me Hank had brought it in the night before to sell. I don’t have a clue how much it’s worth, but I’m curious. If it’s the right price, I would sell it.”

Michael Maxted, 34, from Orpington, brought along a piece of original artwork used to advertise 1970s show Porridge.
“My dad did the advertising for the show, and he kept hold of it. It’s a one off. It’s probably worth quite a bit, but I wouldn’t want to sell it.”

Karen King, from Walthamstow, brought along a teddy bear she has had since 1955.

Flog It presenter Paul Martin said: “There’s a fantastic crowd. It’s great to do valuations underneath the aircraft. I have not stopped.
“You never know what’s going to turn up. They may not be high value items, but they all have a story and offer a window into the past.”
