A special constable has been charged with downloading indecent images of children.
David Baddiel, 32, a serving officer based in Barnet, was charged on Tuesday with five counts of possession of extreme pornography and three charges of making (downloading) indecent images of children.
He has been bailed to appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Thursday, February 12.
The offences are alleged to have occurred while Mr Baddiel was off duty.
He is currently suspended.
