Two seven-year-olds are hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for disabled children.
Best friends Zak Keller, a pupil at St Martin's School in Mill Hill, and Sammy Coffer, who goes to Manor Lodge School in Shenley, are taking part in a sponsored bike ride at Aldenham Country Park, in Elstree, on May 17 for Jewish charity Norwood.
Between them, they have managed to raise nearly £500, and have recorded an appeal video in a bid to raise more.
Zack, who lives in Totteridge, said: “We have to pedal really hard for five miles and hope to raise lots of money.”
Sammy, who lives in Mill Hill, said: “They help lots of children who can’t ride bikes like us or do the other things we enjoy doing.
“We are really excited about it but know that it’s hard work too, so please sponsor us and help us to cross the finish line.”
