Registered blind people are urged to make sure they are claiming a discount if they use a TV licence.
TV Licensing is working to make sure anyone eligible for the 50 per cent concession is taking it, including the 41 registered blind people in Barnet and 17 in Potters Bar.
Live-in carers or family members can also benefit from the concession, which costs £72.75 for colour and £24.50 for a black and white TV Licence.
For more information, visit tvlicensing.co.uk/blind or call 0300 790 6112.
An audio podcast about the concession is also available online at audioboom.com/tvlicensing
