A pupil secured an assembly for her school delivered by gymnast Beth Tweddle when she won a national writing competition.
Trixie Smith, who is in Year 6 at Christ Church Primary School, in Byng Road, Barnet, wrote about the greatest or most important event in her life so far - how she helped dancers rehearse for the Invictus Games with the 7th Barnet Guides.
Trixie saw Prince Harry during the rehearsals, but her prize was for Britain's most successful ever gymnast to speak to her school.
She said: “The prize was for Beth Tweddle to do an assembly at our school. And now here we are, she called my name. I still can’t get over it.”
