The Times Series has teamed up with The Broadwalk Shopping Centre in Edgware to help launch a Community Health Fund Campaign.

The project aims to support local groups, charities and schools in need of some additional help.

Launched as part of the shopping centre’s new Health Awareness programme, which will run from now until December 2015, the shopping centre will give something back to the community by donating £500 every other month.

Perhaps your school is looking to grow vegetable boxes with the children to promote healthy eating, a local sports club is expanding to help more residents and requires extra equipment, or maybe a regional alcohol and drug awareness group needs financial support - whatever the cause, as long as it promotes wellbeing and health in the region, we would like to hear all about it.

Details of the three nominations will be published, giving you the chance to vote for the organisation you feel deserves the donation the most.

Centre manager Angela Brooks said: “This is a great opportunity for local organisations to gain additional support to improve their wellbeing services and facilities. The Community Health Fund Campaign is something brand new for us to celebrate our Health Awareness programme which will see us host a number of fun yet informative wellbeing events throughout the year starting with our community picnic on Saturday, June 6.

"We’re very excited about how the money that we donate will help local projects and groups and encourage everyone to come forward and nominate worthy projects.”

Charities, projects, schools and groups can nominate themselves by writing to The Broadwalk Centre’s Community Health Fund Campaign, c/o PMW Communications, Stane Court, Stane Street, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 9HP or by emailing thebroadwalk@pmwcom.co.uk

The deadline for nominations is June 7, 2015, and all we need to know is how £500 could help.
