There is still time to nominate a community group, school or charity to win £500 as part of The Broadwalk Centre’s Community Health Fund Campaign.

Launched as part of a programme of initiatives for the shopping centre’s new health awareness campaign, the Community Health Fund, which runs from now until December 2015, is an opportunity to give something back to the community, to help improve the health of people living in Barnet.

As readers of the Times Series, you will be able to choose who will receive the £500 donation from three nominees whose details will be published on June 11, 2015.

Maybe a local community group needs funds for a vegetable allotment, a church needs help to run a healthy lifestyle drop-in facility, a school needs support to purchase a new piece of sports equipment or you know a health improvement charity that relies solely on donations. Whatever the cause, as long as it is health related, we want to hear how £500 will help, so please get in touch.

Angela Brooks, centre manager at The Broadwalk Centre, said: “Here at The Broadwalk Centre we truly value the health and wellbeing of people living within our community. We are delighted to be able to offer this £500 donation every other month to help charities, schools and local organisation that are in need of help. We would like to encourage everyone to come forward so that we can make sure the donation is put to good use.”

To nominate your organisation or a group that you feel could benefit from some support, please write to The Broadwalk Centre’s Community Health Fund Campaign, c/o PMW Communications, Stane Court, Stane Street, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 9HP or email thebroadwalk@pmwcom.co.uk

The deadline for nominations is June 7, 2015.
