Witnesses are urged to come forward after a disabled 92-year-old woman was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car.

The collision happened in the Sainsbury’s car park in East Barnet Road, New Barnet at about 11.30am on Friday, July 3.

The woman, who was in a wheelchair, was taken to an east London hospital where she remains in a critical but stable condition.

The driver stopped at the scene and is helping the Metropolitan Police with their enquiries. He was not arrested.
