A MAN has died after a house fire in Cricklewood.
Firefighters found the body of the man on the ground floor of a home in Randall Avenue in the early hours of this morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by London Ambulance Service.
London Fire Brigade was called at 1.22am and the blaze was brought under control by 2.27am.
More than half of the ground floor was damaged by the fire.
Two fire engines and 14 firefighters and officers from Willesden and Wembley fire stations were called to the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the brigade’s Fire Investigation Unit and the Metropolitan Police.
A Met spokesman said the death was being treated as non-suspicious.
