JEWISH people who want help finding jobs and advice on how to develop their business ideas can benefit from a new hub.
The Wohl Enterprise, in Finchley Central Synagogue, Redoburne Avenue, was opened by former Minister of State for Trade and Investment, Lord Livingston.
He referred to it as the new “Silicon Suburb”.
The hub will bring businesses together under one roof to encourage networking amongst its members.
The building is run by Work Avenue, an employment charity which helps people in the Jewish community find work as well as offering mentoring and advice on how to start a business.
They also hold networking events and skills development workshops.
Last year Work Avenue helped over 1500 people find a job together with assisting nearly 600 people create their start-up ventures.
Chief executive Shraga Zaltzman said: “Our aim is to create a go-to place for the entire community where entrepreneurship and innovation will thrive.”
