THEY say if you pull a funny face it could stay like that if the wind changes – but these children risked it for charity.
Pupils at Holly Park Primary School, in Bellevue Road, Friern Barnet, enjoyed sticking their tongues out and rolling their eyes for the North London Hospice in Finchley.
They gave a donation at the school gates and at various points of the day, teachers would stop the class to pull and hold a funny face for a minute.
Deputy headteacher Maria Michael said: “We are a community school and the children and staff feel that it is important we support charities close by.
“The North London Hospice led an assembly at our school therefore the children really understand where their money is going and how it is helping.”
