A PHOTOGRAPHER who needs new motivation to get fit plans to run 10 kilometres on a treadmill for charity.

Michael Duke, from North Finchley, is looking for sponsorship for his run, which will take place at the Park View Health Club in Ballards Lane in support if Thames Valley Air Ambulances.

The 56-year-old, who has had his photography displayed at East Finchley’s Phoenix Cinema, tries to run regularly and has done charity runs before.

He said: “I need the motivation to stay fit as I get older and what better reason is there than to run for charity?

“So this time, and last time, I chose a cause which I thought did a lot of good and really deserves the help. I want to do what I can to help and getting fit to run 10k is an added bonus.”

Some of Michael’s photos have been accepted into this year’s Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, which opened on Monday, June 13.

They will be displayed at the Academy, on the Victoria Embankment, until Sunday, August 21.

The run will be held on June 30.
