A “talented and creative” college student’s artwork has been put on display for all to see.

DLD College London pupil Jacob Niko-Katz, 17, of Oakwood Road, Barnet, presented his piece for a project called The Eyes at his college’s Westminster Bridge building.

The college invited staff, students, parents and the public to an event held to celebrate the work and effort of the college’s A-Level Art, Photography, Graphics and Art Foundation students.

The title of the project was open to interpretation by students and Jacob’s 3D pencil sketch depicts the CCTV cameras seen on every street in London.

He chose not to look at the literal eye but how we are being watched by eyes made of machinery.

Principal Rachel Borland said: “Jacob is one of our most talented and creative students and the pencil drawing he completed really demonstrates his artistic skills.

“It is wonderful that we are able to give our students the opportunity to showcase the finished result of all their hard work this year and to really celebrate their skills.

"The Art Show was a brilliant way to come together as a community at DLD.”
