A FILM project put together by Barnet students has been released online.

Who Are We?, a short movie about young people finding their identities, was made by 50 volunteers who attend colleges across the borough with the help of youth charity Exposure.

The project consists of a short film, a 12-page magazine and other online content based around similar subjects.

Teams of students from colleges including from Woodhouse College, Barnet & Southgate College, Christ’s College Finchley Academy and the Pavilion Study Centre were involved in the project.

Louisa Stratton, who attends Christ’s College Academy in Finchley, said: "It’s hard enough discovering who you are without being constantly questioned and misunderstood by others.

“We had an intense time exploring areas of our identity while learning new communication skills with Exposure. It was an amazing experience.”

Exposure, based in North London works to introduce young people to the creative industries, finding them work experience, relevant skills and finding out “what really matters to young people today”.

They collaborated with London-wide John Lyon’s Charity who promote the life chances of children and young people through education.
