PEOPLE are encouraged to take part in a borough-wide bake sale for charity.
Organised by Barnet Giving, neighbours or organisations can organise their own bake sales for community charities that desperately need help.
Barnet Giving aims to bring people, businesses, organisations and stakeholders together to help make Barnet a better place to live and work for everyone, including the borough's vulnerable people.
Sara Elias-Bassett and the community engagement team at Barnet Council raised more than £100, with their office cake sale.
Every £1 raised will turn into £1.75 for the Barnet Giving Fund.
The winners of the Barnet Bake Challenge will receive prizes from Amy’s Housewares, the Courthouse Café and other stores.
