People in Barnet can show their respects to the former President of Israel Shimon Peres.
Shimon Peres, who was hospitalised after suffering a stroke, died on Tuesday (September 27), leaving behind a legacy as the 9th president of Israel and a Nobel Peace Prize winner.
A book will been laid out to record condolences at Hendon town hall, the Burroughs, in due course.
The borough has a strong relationship with Israel, due to its twinning arrangement with Ramat Gan – a city in the Tel Aviv district.
