A body has been found in the search for a Polish woman who went missing on a coach trip.
Irena Wawszczak disappeared when her coach from Northampton to Poland stopped at services in Mill Hill en route on last Monday (October 24).
CCTV footage had been released this week to keep the public engaged in the search for the 62-year-old, who speaks little English and only had £50 cash on her person.
A body has been found by police searching for Mrs Wawszczak in the Darlands Lake nature reserve, Mill Hill, at 10.05am today (November 3).
Mrs Wawszczak's family has been informed, though no formal identification has been made.
Police will only say they have recovered the body of an elderly white female.
The death is being treated as unexplained with a post-mortem examination taking place on Thursday, November 10.
