A Colindale man has been charged with the murder of a student.

Djodjo Nsaka, 19, from Streatham, South London, was found with knife wounds around 1.15am in Fulton Road near Wembley Stadium on Friday (January 20), and died at the scene.

Ali Tas, of Eagle Drive, Colindale, will appear today (January 24) in custody at Hendon Magistrates' Court, charged with the Middlesex University student’s murder.

The 20-year-old defendant is also charged with common assault against another man who was also found at the scene and treated for minor injuries.

Tas was arrested on Sunday (January 22).

Mr Nsaka was studying business studies and may be the first teenager to be murdered in London this year.
