A 21-year-old man who died after being stabbed in the neck has been named.

Joseph Olopo, of Colindale, was taken to hospital by ambulance on Friday (February 17) after a fight broke out between a number of men in Heathfield Gardens, Brent Cross.

He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at the hospital, with a post-mortem finding a stab wound to the neck to be the case of death and his next of kin have now been informed.

A 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth were arrested near the scene with the older bailed until a date early next month and the younger released with no further action.

The post-mortem at Northwick Park hospital left police satisfied the deceased was Mr Olopo, though a formal identification is still due.
