An application to demolish an old sports building and build 170 new homes has been withdrawn from tonight's planning meeting.

Developers submitted the application to demolish the old sports buildings and stewards bungalow at the Old Haberdasher's site, in Croxdale Road, in Borehamwood.

The application, if granted planning permission, looks to build 170 homes comprising 14 x 1 bed flats, 78 x 2 bed flats, 47 x 3 bed houses and 31 x 4 bed houses.

There will also be parking available at the new building.

Within the last hour, the applicant has withdrawn the application which was due to be discussed tonight.
