The caravan exploded in Green Lane, Wheathampstead
A caravan exploded in Wheathamsptead last night.
Fire crews were called to Green Lane at 11.07pm.
They found the remains of a caravan and have opened an investigation.
Eyewitnesses say the caravan was full of building waste.
