Weather

It’s going to be dry and cloudy for most of the day with some light winds making it feel slightly colder than yesterday. Highs of 12 degrees Celsius.

Tube and Train

There are severe delays on the District line between Earls Court and Edgware Road due to a signal failure at High Street Kensington, and minor delays between Earls Court and Wimbledon.

There are also minor delays anticlockwise on the circle line due to the same signal failure.

There are problems network-wise with ticket machines on Thameslink, so make sure to give extra time to purchase your tickets. All lines are running well.

There is some disruption between Bletchley and Bedford on London Midlands services.

There is a good service reported on East Midlands Trains and the majority of Network Rail.

Traffic

There are increasing delays of 15 minutes on the A1 southbound coming up to Stirling Corner/Borehamwood and again at A1 southbound coming up to Watford Way.

The exit ramp on the M25 at junction 22 A1081 is closed due to an accident late last night, and there are delays on the M25 at the A41 junction at Kings Langley, though this is beginning to clear.

There are severe delays on the M1 southbound between junction 2 and the North Circular, and the exit ramp to the A406 eastbound is closed with a detour in operation.

There are also severe delays on the M4 eastbound between junction 2 for A4 and junction 1 for A4, which is also affecting junction 3 for A312. One lane is closed due to a broken down vehicle.
