Golfers teed off for charity, raising £18,000 for a care home charity.

Jewish Care hosted their ADGS Golf Tournament at the Dyrham Park country club in Barnet, which was followed by lunch, cocktails and a raffle.

One of the projects the tournament raised funds for are the home’s Singing for Memory sessions at the Asher Loftus Way home, where those with dementia sing to help them reminisce and socialise along with their family carers.

ADGS Golf Day chairman Harold Sorsky, said “We are delighted that the ADGS Golf Day raised £18,000 to help fund Jewish Care’s services include Singing for Memory, the centres for people living with dementia and Memory Way Café’s.

“The activities there help people living with dementia to stay in touch with their memories and are a vital opportunity for them and their carers to meet and get to know other people going through the same thing.”
