Have your say on the shake-up of new council ward boundaries.

A nine-week consultation period for people have their say will be held until Monday, August 14.

Residents are being asked for their opinions on new council wards, ward boundaries and ward names across Hertsmere.

The survey is being run by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England, an independent organisation that examines the structure, electoral arrangements and external boundaries of local authorities.

Under current proposals, Hertsmere should still be represented by 39 councillors overall,

Hertsmere should still have 39 councillors representing the borough, with nine three-councillor wards and six two-councillor wards.

The Commission are asking for public opinion to gather as much evidence as possible to develop the final recommendations.
