More than 200 people are expected to run tomorrow to mark Diabetes Awareness Week.

Councillors, Mayor Brian Salinger and Theresa Villiers MP will be at the run, held every Saturday morning in Oak Hill Park, to commemorate the run as the final instalment of the awareness week.

The week kicked off with an event at Brent Cross where nurses and doctors tested shoppers for diabetes.

Dignitaries will also be supporting a three-year project to improve people's health by increasing their physical activity.

The run kicks off at 9am at Oak Hill Park, with runners meeting in the car park at 8.45am.
