Pupils from St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School in Borehamwood took part in a competition to design a poster for a community event.
The posters are promoting the Love4U event, organised by the churches of Elstree and Borehamwood which will take place in Aberford Park on Saturday, July 15 from 2pm until 6pm.
The competition had a high standard of work, but was won by Fiona in Year 4, with Alice in Year 6 and Thomas in Year 5 made runners up.
The event aims to show what churches bring to the community by promoting services that people in the area may benefit from.
Refreshments, crafts, games will be held, as well the chance to be part of making a prayer chain for peace and the opportunity to reflect on recent tragedies.
