Cadets, ex-servicemen and members of the Army Reserve paid tribute to the military on Sunday with a parade and flag raising ceremony.
The ceremony, marking Armed Forces Day on June 25, saw dignitaries joining members of military to acknowledge the contribution of those serving at Hendon Town Hall, The Burroughs.
The Mayor of Barnet, Cllr Brian Salinger, raised flags above the town hall as part of the event, which took place after a parade through the streets.
He said: "We owe the men and women of our armed forces a tremendous debt of gratitude and Sunday’s ceremony gives us the chance to acknowledge their contribution."
Many residents lined the streets leading up to Mill Hill School to commemorate their loved ones serving as well.
