A synagogue has launched interfaith educational activities for primary and secondary schools in the area.
Edgware Masorti Synagogue, Stream Lane, has worked with North London Collegiate School, Woodcroft Primary School, St James Catholic High School and The London Academy on special activities to help pupils learn about different faiths and their similarities.
A group from London Academy, Spur Road, visited the synagogue to view ritual objects and hear a talk from Rebbetzin Raya Even David, the synagogue's director of education, about the Jewish service and similarities between Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism and Islam.
Children in Year Two at Woodcroft Primary School, Watling Avenue, were visited by Ms Even David, who brought objects for children to look at and ask questions about, including the kippah, a small head-covering and the tallit, a shawl worn during prayers.
Year Two pupils Fadwa, Gabby and Sofia said: "We really enjoyed the workshop because it was very interesting and a lot of fun.
"The head coverings were similar to our religion and also the Jewish holy book is read from the back to the front, just like our faith."
