Film fans will be able to watch their favourite movies from an unusual vantage point starting next week as Big Screen on the Beach returns for another year.
Located by the pond in The Parade, the installation brings a sandy beach to the centre of Watford so kids can play and build sandcastles while older attendees can enjoy a cocktail and the open air cinema.
Films to be shown this year include Disney hit Moana, 80s classic Dirty Dancing, and Oscar award-winning musical La La Land, although there will be many more on offer.
Activities will run every day for a month, starting on Friday, July 28, and ending on Monday, August 28.
Sandcastle Club will return every Wednesday, starting at 10am, with a variety of activities for children themed around Pirates of the Caribbean, Jurassic Park and mystical creatures.
There will also be the opportunity to win a prize at weekends by entering the sandcastle competition.
